To be or not to be? Parte 2

Já vimos o verbo to be (verbo ser e estar) no presente, vamos ver como fica no passado?

Afimativa (positive)
I was
he was
she was
it was
we were
you were
they were

Negativa (negative)
I   was not   ou I wasn't
he was not   ou he wasn't
she was not  ou she wasn't
it was not  ou it wasn't
we were not    ou we weren't
you were not   ou you weren't
they were not   ou they weren't

Interrogativa (question)
was I?
was he?
was she?
was it?
were we?
were you?
were they?

Vamos ver alguns exemplos?
  • Last year she was 31, so she is 32 now. (Ano passado ela tinha 31 anos, então agora ela tem 32)
  • When I was a child, I was afraid of dogs. (Quando eu era criança, eu tinha medo de cachorros.)
  • We were tired after the journey but we weren't hungry. (Nós estávamos cansados depois da viagem mas não estávamos com fome).
  • Where were you at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon? (Onde você estava ontem às 3h da tarde?)
  • Was the food good? (A comida estava boa?)
  • 'Were you late?'   'No, I wasn't.'
  • 'Were they at the party?'  'No, they weren't.'

  1. Verbo to be já está bem assimilado.
Mas é muito bom sempre citar.
Sempre existe alguém que é novidade né?!
